my daughter the cartoonist
we've started a new tradition in my home that i just love. every sunday morning my 5 year old daughter and i sit down together and laugh at the funnies. i am a guy who can pass on reading the latest sports article, pass on politics, pass on current news...but give me the funnies, and i'm set. (i figure i learn about all the politics i need to from the cartoons anyways!)
so this last sunday my daughter and i giggled at this garfield strip, and she liked it so much that she made her own comic strip about "doggie in the mirror". i just love it.

So funny! What a little character you've got there.
I'm so glad that someone else feels the same way about funnies as I do. Its the one part of the paper I read. Maybe its an artist thing. We don't care about the real world, only the world we create. wow, that was so cheesy.
She's actually a really good artist, I can't believe she's only 5...all those colours, pretty darn good.
Duston, this is so great! How cute is that? Your work is inspiring as well!
