a boy and his horse

matt child had this photo shoot itching on his mind for about two years. it was something he knew needed to be done, but it was a bittersweet shoot to swallow. his horse of 29 years has unfortunately become lame and it has become time to let the old friend be lifted from this life...a boy and his horse. matt was only 14 years old when he was given the gift of this horse, and now it has come time for the family and he to say goodbye.
my best to you child family...and a sincere thank you for giving me the opportunity to photograph such a personal and touching story.

what's your story? (let's shoot it)

Everyone knows that you shoot well - well and originally, which is harder. But you also write well. Big ups.

So touching...your images capture the story beautifully. The first one is very pulling on the emotions!

Awesome Duston. You are amazing. First of all, you shoot with film. Kudos. Second, you stray away from mundane. You're not following the current photography fads. I seriously look up to you.
